Autism Awareness Month is Coming Up

Autism Awareness Month starts April 1st to April 30th.  There’s many ways for you to learn more about Autism spectrum disorder during the month of April and also continue to learn about it no matter what month it is.

There’s always room to grow and learn more about Autism by reading books and watching different films that depict Autism and even get to go to film festivals that are related to inclusive film festivals that have films that are related to autism and other disabilities for example like ReelAbilities Film Festival which we support and have a vested interest in.

As much I have Autism myself I find that more people are able to learn more about Autism by being open to learning more it. I find that there’s more ways to learn more it by watching documentaries and even read Curious Incident of The Dog in the Nighttime which shows what Autism is like for men verses women.

It can even help you to better understand those who have Autism and see the abilities they have and not the challenges those who have Autism face. I look at it as yes I have Autism but I work ten times harder than most people and I am aware of what challenges I have yet it might cause me to struggle to lean tasks but if people are able to give me a chance and see me for me and not the disability I have.
