Day three of ReelAbilities: NY Disabilities Film Festival was a jam packed day filled with films for all ages and all kinds of films that ranged from family friendly films to films which were for teens and adults would like and enjoy. They all focused on different topics which so many people can relate to and which could be used as a learning tool.

Today prior to the feature films there was a short film which involved dance and two dancers came in and performed. I’m sure your thinking that this is just the normal dance performance however the performance wasn’t the ordinary performance and as a person who has a disability herself. I’m always looking to see people doing what they love and that shows me and others like me that we can accomplish anything. No matter what challenges you have.

One of the feature films that aired today focused on an American veteran and it was very informative piece. It really brought up the discussion on the needs of  veterans who have disabilities. We really hope that all the films we see them go far.

The other feature film that was airing today at ReelAbilities: NY Disabilities Film Festival was a Hungarian film which is an action film called Kills on Wheels which was action packed and I can’t wait to see how far it goes.
